Alessandra Verry Lascurain 

Alessandra is a spatial designer and maker who works between product, installation, photography, and architectural fields. She began her design education in 2022 at IED Barcelona, where she was introduced to various disciplines before specialising in spatial design in her Bachelor of Design in New Zealand.

Alessandra's passion for spatial design began around the age of 7. She would spend countless hours drawing plans and building structures for her pets.

​

She has an appreciation for physical making, and her exposure to product manufacturing has complemented her spatial practice through material explorations, model making, and developing disassemblable joinery. This hands-on experimentation has led to curiosity about combining Spatial design with innovative manufacturing. While Alessandra would like to pursue architecture and construction further, she's eager to continue venturing between disciplines.
